After studying silver smithing and jewellery design at Sheffield university and graduating with BA Hons in 1992, I became a mother, and finally, after years of snot and measles am able once again to do something for me and unloved, beautiful spoons everywhere !!!!... Hence Spoons from the Shed !
It is believed that rings such as these were first given by Victorian servants to their intended spouse. Precious metals were expensive and salaries were meagre, silver spoons in a society house were plentiful and not well accounted for it appears !
Spoons from the shed have revived and refined this idea and now present you with the opportunity of owning a hand made, unique, individual and beautiful piece of social history.
